    Tristan de Cuhna is more remote. It’s 2430km from St. Helena. Bouvet Island’s closest neighbor is Antarctica (1770 km).

      Correct, I thing "most isolated island" is the wrong term. I think Bouvet Islandis the "most inaccessible" would have been a better term.

      A interesting article, I am sure people reading this would love to go there (like me), but for me it would be a risky trip :)

      Hmmm.. there must be a way to define remote to correlate with likelihood of a hantavirus outbreak.

      Maybe the remoteness or inhabitedness of nearest neighbors matters?
